Lemberg Electric is growing our internal support structure and is looking for candidates that want to be employee owners of one of southeastern Wisconsin's larger contractors. Lemberg has worked on notable projects like the Mayfair Mall and office buildings, Bayshore, Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley Davidson, Concordia University, Children Hospital, Milwaukee Tool Downtown Corporate Head Quarters, Foxconn, IKEA, Meijer Stores, Fleet Farm, Deer District Buildings, Wisconsin Center District, Marquette Campus Town, and many other projects.

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, generating leads, building relationships with existing and prospective customers, and networking extensively to grow the business. Communicates directly with the internal team of project managers and installers to ensure a smooth completion of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute a sales plan
  • Meets directly with customers to establish needs, consult on projects and drive the overall sales process from start to finish
  • Handing project off to the Project Manager once sale is final
  • Staying in contact with Project Manager for any questions that arise
  • Conducts customer site walk-through's and suggest estimates for building system installations and service opportunities
  • Builds strong and trusted relationships with architects, developers, and business owners to promote and sell Lemberg product offerings
  • Follow up with customers to maintain relationship and answer any questions they may have
  • Work with all levels of management to maximize efficiency and continue to improve selling effectiveness in both existing and new markets
  • Use of Excel and other databases to design, implement, organize and manage lead tracking systems by product, market and location
  • Reviews estimates for accuracy in product and labor. Constructs and submits professionally written proposals
  • Create market awareness through multi-media, mailings, presentations and trade association meetings to grow the Lemberg brand
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and strive to grow the business through product sales
  • Support sales in every aspect of the sales cycle and market
  • Hit or exceed the sales and revenue goals for the year
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of sales experience or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • OSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to stay organized and keep to a schedule
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and other software programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or technical field
  • 2 years of experience in the Sign Industry
  • Knowledge of NEC code, OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

Physical demands within this position include but are not limited to: frequent standing, sitting, walking, listening, focusing, and using depth perception, working in different weather conditions and using office equipment and the use of hands to handle or touch objects/controls. Local travel to various worksites is required at least 80%. Long periods of time spent on the computer, typing, using the telephone, stooping, bending, reaching above shoulders, lifting up to 20 pounds when needed and walking on uneven surfaces at job sites may be required. The position requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use such as safety glasses, vest, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
